| Overview of Recent Projects Sarah Stanley began in 2002 to realize photography, video and installation projects with artists in cities such as Berlin, Mexico City, Merreketch and New York City. In the past two years, she has developed curatorial projects that make use of local situations that reference global cultures. Artists and architects who are exploring new media and materials are given an experimental platform to realize their ideas. One of her main creative goals is to foster an exchange between art and the spaces of human perception, providing a laboratory where an artist can engage the experience of existence in relation to history, architecture, urban life, nature and the human form. The goal is to find inventive means to present projects that are engage actual urban situations. Currenlty underway is a series of video portraits that are documents of artists in relation to the people and places that they photograph, documenting current trends in contemporary photography through interviews and text.
